Happiness has no Price
Jordan is at that age. He's all about video games, guns, and race cars. So, when he discovered the "Indy Cars", at Six Flags, he really wanted to ride. Two problems with that. He wasn't tall enough to drive, and it was an "extra pay" area. If anyone knows me, they know I don't like to pay extra for anything at an amusement park. I usually stash some snacks to take in the park, and have no problem saying "no" at the gift shop. I don't want to be that mom that spoils her kids, giving in to every request.
I've made a few exceptions to those rules, however. When the catty kindergartener girls of the "dress club" were giving Kylie a hard time, I shelled out full price for a sparkling pair of glitter shoes. Surely, the envy of any "dress club" member. And how could I turn Jordan down? Other than the fact that I would hear complaints for the rest of the day, I really wanted to see the smile on his face. He was thrilled to race with his dad, and I think Aaron had just as much fun. Now, you just can't put a price on that.

Happy to see some new posts from you! I think we "splurged" on those extra pay cars too. You know I am pretty "frugal/cheap" too! Chase loves the hand me down glitter shoes she got from Kylie!
