A frog appeared
at our door
He didn't know
what was in store

After I picked him up
with garden gloves
the kids rushed down
and showed their love

Jordan put him
in a car
the frog now
a superstar

Ryan held him
gentle as can be
Four, so much better
than being three

And Kylie shared
an Eskimo kiss
hoping to find
a little prince

They played and played
with their new found friend
but eventually
it had to end

So we found
a magnolia tree
and because we loved him,
set him free.
