Hats off to Kylie

I have never looked good in hats - and sunglasses - forget about it. Don't even get me started on dark lipstick. I have never been able to pull any of these looks off. But, when I went to pick up Kylie the other day from a Tea Party, she was wearing a big hat with flowers and daintily eating cakes and cookies. I thought she looked like such a little lady, and loved the hat on her (never mind the fact that she ripped all of the flowers off when we got home). When I saw her, I was reminded of all the possibilities that having a daughter would bring. All of the new experiences, adventures, and moments to be proud. Hats off to Kylie for allowing me to see the world with different eyes, and perhaps have a different view of myself - sunglasses, hats, and all.
