The Magic of Christmas

When the magician asked for volunteers, a flurry of anxious hands shot up. And next to me, one tentative hand wavered. As the now familiar magician (we have seen his show 4 years in a row) selected Jordan, I was so proud of him. When asked his name, there was about a 3 second delay before Jordan replied, but he was a "star" after that. The trick involved taking a ring from an audience member which Jordan had to hold in a scarf. Well, Jordan "lost" the ring, and luckily, the magician was able to recover it. At the end of the show, a little girl came up, gave him a hug, and told him she loved him (his first fan - well, second, that is). I have always been his biggest fan, and was happy to see his magical transformation that day.
