Dear Santa

It was a day of firsts (and hopefully not lasts). For the first time, Ryan sat on Santa's lap. He had ventured out earlier to the "Mall Santa", but back pedaled when he got within 50 feet. This time, however, he mustered up enough courage to sit on Santa's lap long enough to ask for a Nerf shooter gun, and get a candy cane. At 8 years old, I wasn't sure how Jordan would feel about Santa, but he was happy to tell him about the "Wii" that he wants (one of 45 items on his Christmas list). Kylie asked for a Nintendo DS, and had a more modest and pragmatic list than Jordan. It consisted of 11 items, but one was money, and the other, a metal detector. We'll just have to wait and see what Dear Santa brings.
