Ryan takes (and bakes) the cake

This morning when Ryan woke up, he was showered with hugs, and Happy Birthday wishes. Jordan started making him a Lego creation since he hadn't gotten a gift for him. Kylie asked if "4" felt any different than "3", and Ryan strolled into the kitchen to see his cake. When he didn't see a birthday cake, he said "Hellloooooooooooooo, Mom, you didn't bake a cake for me"-(obviously the product of older siblings). Well, we got right to making his "Funfetti" cake, and Ryan had a lot of fun pouring and mixing ingredients. I know my friend Dustin must be cringing right now - she makes virtual masterpieces for her children's birthdays, but I am keeping the bar low for now - after all, I have to leave room for improvement, or I will hear "Hellloooooooooooo, Mom"- once again.
