Summer has flown by!

When we lived in Salt Lake City, a commercial used to run every day in the summer. It was sponsored by the LDS Church, and featured two kids recounting their summer vacations. One was an affluent kid describing his expensive (but boring) trip to Europe. The other was a "normal" kid who described the fun of the pool, and spending time with family. Their tagline was "Family, it's about time". And for some reason, that has stuck with me. It seems that the kids are happiest with the simple activities, and just hanging out with family. No need for fancy vacations, just a trip to the neighborhood pool kept all the kids, (and especially Kylie) flying high.

That is so true! Our cheap camping trips are the best vacations! Love the picture of Kylie flying in the pool. I can't believe Summer is coming to an end soon. Good luck with your first days of school. ~D

Umm, please tell me what the last makes the last trimester of pregnancy go faster? Chocolate seems to help :)

Glad to see the kids having a blast.

Henry loves his new shoes, hats, etc...

Thanks for all of the hand-me-downs & diders

This is soooo true. Our best memories are the simple ones. Hiking, camping, driving over the hill to cook breakfast on the beach. Just hanging out in our neighborhood. Enjoy it now (i know you are) It goes soooo fast.
SUMMER, DON'T END!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love, Aunt Marcia
