Ridin' in Style

The first time Jordan learned to ride his bike, he was flawless. Perhaps it was the fact that we waited until the age of 6 to teach him, or maybe because he got his coordination from Aaron, but he didn't even fall once. I had him in a helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, and I would have secured toilet paper rolls around him if I could. Fast forward to today. He is the owner of a new "tricked out" (as the kids would say, or maybe not.......I was told by my kids that I am "uncool") bike. It has a seven speed right hand shifter, and front/rear cable brakes. Aaron and I had to get our bikes serviced just to keep up. Our next mission - to get rid of Kylie's training wheels. Am I ready? Of course I am, and I have plenty of Charmin on hand to prove it.
