In the swim of things

Ryan has spent most of his life "tagging along" - always watching as his older siblings participate in big kid activities, wanting to be a part of the action. He's watched games countless numbers of times from the sidelines, and waved as his big brother and sister ran to join a birthday party. But, with the quick donning of a swim vest, he became a "big kid" for the afternoon. He giggled as his little legs propelled him through the waters of previously uncharted territory. He was so happy to be part of the crowd, and I had to keep looking for my shadow........not there anymore.
