I've been reading parenting magazines ever since Jordan was born. I usually find the advice from parents most helpful. One mom suggested giving kids
popsicles in the tub. I now use it as a treat after hair washing, as there is no drippy mess to contend with. The other day, as I had so many times before, I gave Ryan his
popsicle. But this time was different - this time, I looked in Ryan's eyes, and flashed to when Jordan was younger, and to me giving him a
popsicle in Hawaii. It was a really strong
connection - like when you smell a fresh pine tree, and are reminded of Christmas. I knew this had to be special (if only to me), so, I sat down, and calculated the ages of Jordan and Ryan in the pictures. Jordan was 3 years, 6 months and 16 days old. Ryan was 3 years, 7 months and 5 days old - only a 19 day difference. I think I am hearing the music to the "Twilight Zone" right now.

Very cool. The bathtub idea is great. I just gave Henry one and I think more ended up on me than in him. :)
What a great idea! I will have to do that sometime. ~D
