My Itsy Bitsy Fan

The other night, I was laying in bed with Kylie for her bedtime routine. After she tucked all her animals in with her, and said prayers, she asked me to do "The Itsy Bitsy Spider". I usually sing the song to her, and walk my fingers up her back like a spider. While I was doing it, she asked "Momma, are you going to be on American Idol"? I had to pause for a moment, wondering where this came from. Apparently, she thought my rendition of "Itsy Bitsy Spider" was enough to land me on the show (forget the fact that I'm a decade too old, and can't sing). But in her eyes, I could. It reminded me of that saying "To the world, you are just somebody, but to somebody, you are the world". It's made me realize that I'm on a stage of sorts, and that I can't let any of my fans down.
