Vegas, Baby

On our flight out to California, we stopped in Vegas to pick up/drop off passengers. Before we arrived, the Southwest crew played a game where passengers wrote their seat number on a dollar bill, and put it in a plastic bag. Whoever was lucky enough to have their dollar drawn would win the entire bag of loot. After all of the money was collected, the flight attendant called up Ryan to select the winner (I was actually hoping for once that it was not me - who wants an angry mob of gamblers thinking this entire thing was rigged). I was sitting in seat 4E, and Ryan selected 5C - close. The winners were from a rowdy Las Vegas group, and very happy. Ryan felt like the star, and the Southwest crew members were very nice. They also proved to have a sense of humor - when we hit a rough patch of turbulence, the said "everybody, hands up (which my kids did) it's a roller coaster" They also tried to ease the mood by announcing "hot coffee anyone?" Happy to say, we made it to our destination safely, just minus 1 dollar.
