St. Patrick's Day Fun

As I'm typing this, I just remembered it was my parent's 41st wedding anniversary on (or around) St. Patrick's day (I can never remember). Happy Anniversary!! Anyways, we celebrated St. Patrick's Day by taking in the greenery at the Sacramento Zoo. The kids had a great time going from exhibit to exhibit, and yet again, trying to catch a squirrel. The best exhibit for me were the Siberian tigers who were being very playful, and the Lions - docile as could be right against the cage. My mom kept mentioning the possibility of an earthquake - breaking the glass, and thus causing the lion to escape, but I happened to have my running shoes on that day. We finished off the day with a BBQ and some cupcake treats at Dustin's house. The kids loved seeing Kendal and Chase, and had lots of fun playing Lego's and music. It was a great start to our vacation.
