The Park before Dark

As the day began to wind down, Kylie and Ryan decided they wanted to walk to the neighborhood park. Kylie initially chose her scooter, but only made it a few houses down before trading it for a mini car. Ryan took the wheel of his plasic car, and used foot power (ala Flinstones) to make it to his destination. We spent more time driving there (looking at rocks and bugs) than actually playing at the park. As experience has shown, the kids are less enthusiastic to drive back home, and I pulled along a wagon to pick up the stragglers. Good thing I did - Kylie opted for a ride just as darkness settled in.
