Santa Strikes Again

For the third year in a row, Santa has taken a detour on his way to the North Pole, and stopped by our neighborhood. So off I went again...........with Jordan, Kylie, and Ryan in tow. Ryan had already told me "I am not going to sit on his lap". I reminded him of the candy canes, hot chocolate, and cookies that would be there, and he decided to go. As Jordan and Kylie talked with Santa, and received their candy canes, Ryan stuck close to my side. As Santa kindly motioned him closer with a candy cane, Ryan stretched out his arm as far as it would go, and snatched the candy with the speed and precision of a snapping crocodile. He quickly retreated behind me with his prize in hand. He wasn't so sure about this Santa person, but if he was offering candy, then who was he to turn it down? We did manage to get one photo, but not a smile from Ryan. We'll check back for it on Christmas morning.
