Ruby Falls

Our first morning in Chattanooga took us to Ruby falls - a series of caves 260 feet underground that leads to an impressive waterfall. Jordan and Kylie were very excited for this one. Kylie wore a backpack (for all of her finds), and the kids kept talking about all of the crystals they would discover in the cave. There were great formations along the way as pictured above, and some unconventional ones such as "Chicken on a Surfboard". It was amazing to see the various rocks, but the kids left empty-handed, as no collecting was allowed. But believe it or not, there was an abundance of crystals for sale in the gift shop :)
