Rock City

As we pulled into Chattanooga for the first time, we headed straight to Rock City, a series of pathways, caves, and rock formations. They had an amazing assortment of Christmas lights called the "Enchanted Garden of Lights". We spent well over an hour following the stone paths, squeezing through rocks, crossing bridges, and going in crystal encrusted caves. Ryan was most impressed with the little elves he saw in the caves. You wind to Lookout Mountain, where a waterfall cascades below, and off in the distance, you can see seven states (Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia). Rock City was my favorite part of the trip. You can see more at http://www.seerockcity.com/. I'm really looking forward to going back - but this time in the light of day.

Happy New Year. Looks like you guys had a busy, fun filled few days. Have you ever thought about checking out Memphis? That might be a fun trip too. But while you're there you should definitely do the whole FL/ Disney thing. Dave said you mentioned going it the summer, but the winter is very nice there when it's not as hot and humid.
Looks like the kids are at a fun traveling age. I'm sure that they will always remember these experiences...at least J & K
