What's a Mom to (hair)Do?

This morning, Kylie got up extra early - excited to do her own hair. She got out every barrette she owns, and arranged them until they were "perfect". I was so proud of her for working so hard, and wanted to cheer her on for this accomplishment. After all, she has been a real tomboy up to this point, never expressing any interest in hairstyles or sparkly barrettes. So, what's a mom to do? I couldn't send her to school with 50 barrettes, but I didn't want to hurt her feelings. As she was eating breakfast, she picked her favorites, and I arranged all 11 of them into a "do" she could be proud of, as she is modeling in the last shot.
